Our goal at Hickory Nut Falls Family Campground is to provide families with an affordable getaway in a safe and friendly environment. The rules and regulations we have set are to ensure a peaceful vacation for everyone who camps here. If a camper, their visitors or pets should disregard our rules or disrupt the vacation of fellow campers, they may be asked to leave.

Our campground was drastically damaged during Hurricane Helene. We’ve worked very hard to reopen, but many aspects of the land remain impacted. It is extremely important to use caution around the river, mountain, rocks & banks. We are not responsible for accidents caused by curiosity or negligence. Please always be aware of where you step and ensure that it is safe. Do not attempt to go beyond barriers whether they are tangible or implied. Parents are responsible for ensuring their children’s safety. Gravity is real. Rocks are hard and often slippery. Land can become unstable when it rains. Common sense is always a must when camping. Any destruction, vandalism or theft will not be taken lightly & violators will be prosecuted.
Check in for campsites is from 1:00pm - 5:00pm on weekdays & 1:00pm - 7:00pm on weekends. Check in for cabins begins at 3:00. Our office closes at 2:00pm on Sundays. If you arrive after office hours, you will find your map with your name, site number and wifi information attached to our office door. These hours sometimes change with daily life obligations. Even if you check in online, please stop by our office on your way in to say hi & pick up your paperwork. We like to put a face with a name. We look forward to seeing you!
Feel free to tag us on social media! If you love our campground, we’d really appreciate a 5 star review! Happy campers only! If you’re unhappy for any reason, please come see us. Spreading negative vibes at such a happy place may result in being asked to leave. If for some reason you’re less than impressed, please come see us to discuss any issue in person so we can resolve the issue together. Thank you!!
